Active Language Full Time 5-week Trinity Certificate in TESOL Course.

After having run both 4 and 5 week Trinity Certificate in TESOL courses since 2004, we have come to realise that 4 weeks is just not enough time to do justice to a very intensive and often highly stressful course. For this reason, from July 2009, Active Language is running 5-week courses

At Active Language we offer our Trinity Certificate in TESOL full time over five weeks. The five-week Trinity TESOL course is both full-time and intensive. We are unique in offering the Trinity TESOL course in Spain over five weeks as other centres prefer to do the course over four. Our experience and feedback from teachers who have been through both four and five week courses clearly shows a preference for more time. More time results in lower stress levels, higher quality work and a better experience all round. The price of our five-week Trinity TESOL remains highly competitive when compared to other shorter four-week courses.

Our 5-week full-time Trinity Certificate in TESOL Course is for you if:

  • You want an internationally-recognised qualification as an entry into a highly stimulating and rewarding career.
  • You would like to complete the course in a short space of time.
  • You would appreciate more time, space and support than is offered on a standard four week course. The timetabling of the 5 week course (Mon-Thurs) means you will have a 3 day weekend which allows significantly more time for assignment writing, lesson planning or if you're well organised, going to the beach.
  • You want to be ready to start work at the beginning of the academic year. The European academic year begins in mid-September, our courses are timed in order to maximise your ability to job hunt at a time when teachers are needed and schools are actively looking to recruit teachers.
  • You would like more time to enjoy Cádiz at its best. Cádiz explodes into life in the summer; as well as the attractive of the beach, there are also concerts, shows and countless cultural events to be enjoyed. The extra time of the five-week course allows you the opportunity to be part of some of Cádiz in the summer.
  • You have at least qualifications for entry to higher education or equivalent

(NB: work experience can be taken into account as an equivalent)

The tutors were fantastic – professional and approachable, experienced and fun and obviously love what they do.
Nadia Bouhdili

Really enjoyed the structure of the course – learn in the morning, teach in the afternoon and felt the workload and expectations were both appropriate. The course was said to be intensive but it wasn’t pointlessly so.

I thought this was a wonderful course: although it required lots of hard work, I enjoyed all the new knowledge, teaching practice, lesson preparation.

I thoroughly enjoyed the input sessions and feel like I got some really good tips. Even when it came to grammar which I am familiar with I still got much from seeing Dani teach. Good luck with the next group!
